This week it's just Lance and Berg recording late on a Tuesday night like in the old days of Taco Tiki Tuesday. We crown Big Cat the champ of his biggest loser contest and and get an update on what has been going on with him recently, a trip to the NFC Championship game in Seattle. Then Berg talks new albums, Against Me!, and Boba Fett tattoos which segway nicely into a discussion about Disney and their properties. Rounding it up with casting rumors, future comic movies, fan casting JLA and all things Sherlock. Enjoy Ladies and Gentlemen, and of course, our Listeners. We give you...Before Jon This week the General and Berg are on their own. That's right, The Cat's Away so the boys will talk baseball!! After a little post World Series and off season talk the guys then bring back the old segment, What's Happening in Portland. We cover everything that our minimal effort searches could come up with. Museums, comedy, movies and the like. Ultimately we end on recent movie trailers and our tentative optimism for next years movie season, and a reminder of what day this falls on. We kick off this week’s show talking about the about the start of the NFL season. As per the Guys norm, they each make Super Bowl pick’s in true FUNNY fashion. Then due to some recent activities, they discuss some proper pre date prep work. Now that summer is winding down to its final hurrah, the guys discuss what they want to make sure to do before the weather changes. In addition to the normal tangents and rants, the conversation ends with the question if DVDs are being released too soon. Sit back, listen, and enjoy the show. Whale Hunting Welcome back to another edition of Funny. This week it is only Berg and Big Cat. They start off the show talking about the fact that they finally, and we do mean finally, received an email from a listener. We move onto the casting of Ben Affleck as Batman, and the sense of entitlement that the nerd community has developed over the last decade. Finally we talk about Berg’s big day. He graduated, and we are so proud. So sit back, listen, and join us for our celebration! Graduation Day The whole gang is here. If you want to know what we discuss this week, try listening to the show. Who knows, you might enjoy it. Rusty Sheriff's Badge This week the full crew is back for episode 22. We start with Big Cat proclaiming his win of the bet and whether or not it’s a good thing. The General recounts his Las Vegas adventure and Berg talks about a show he went to. Which then begs the question of what are we too old to do anymore? The guys then dive into the news that the NFL is considering allowing the first woman official in the league. After some questionable views the crew finishes off the show discussing the potential death of the summer blockbuster. Tune in and enjoy this week’s show... Sexual Bias Welcome back to Funny! We start out the show discussing the fact that the General is going to Vegas. With vacation on his mind, he wants to know where we want to travel. Anywhere in the world, and more importantly why? We move on to talk about the latest performance enhancement scandal in baseball. This time Ryan Braun is the dumbass, again. Since we were already on the subject of baseball, Big Cat has the guys play a game of guessing the World Series odd of each team now that the All Star Game has passed. We were ready on the topic of gambling, so the guys make a bet on the name of the new spawn that could one day be the King of England. We end the show discussing the just announced Superman/Batman Movie. Fucking With Source Material This week the guys meet up at the General’s and are joined by the General’s little-big sister, Didders. The guys get Lance to bring back the old Taco Tiki Tuesday opening question for our guest. After getting to know Didders a little better, and getting an old school General story, we then proceed to recap the General’s first birthday in Portland. The experience is highlighted with a shot recap interlaced with the shenanigens of the night. Big Cat then enlightens us with what not to do at your local movie theater when upset at a midnight show due to too many damn commercials. Followed by brief talk on the NBA finals that segways into the top five people you’d like to punch in the face. After tangents Didder wraps us up with her five member fuck it list. Enjoy. Double Fist This week it is just Lance & Berg, as Mills had a prior commitment. It is our monthly “What’s Happening” show. With only two of us, our discussion take NUMEROUS tangents, but still we have our normal fair of events to discuss. The Rose Festival is still ongoing, and the Grand Floral Parade is Saturday June 8th downtown. Berg has a couple of concerts that he is planning on checking out, see the list below. There are also a couple big name Comedians coming to town. Tracy Morgan will be in town on the 13th at the Newmark Theatre . Pauly Shore, yes that Pauly Shore, will be at the Harvey's Comedy Club on June 21ST. Finally, Bill Maher will be cracking wise about politics at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on June 23rd. We mixed in a little sports talk, we had to after seeing how well the Oregon Colleges are doing in Baseball this spring. Of course we didn’t forget about the movies. There is a sure fire Blockbuster, as well as a Casey Movie Pick. Going Off Topic |
